The Department of Economics of Poornaprajna College Udupi was established in 1960 along with establishment of College. The Department feels proud that the discipline it represents forms an integral part of human life and also that it caters to the most vital aspect of human endeavor. The dept. strives to unravel to the young minds the mystery that economics is and also the potentials it has for a constructive human life.
